Heartwarming light art with handmade lanterns

Local elementary school students have created lanterns decorated in their own unique way using recycled plastic bottles collected from the canal!
The handmade lanterns will be lit with LED light and displayed as illuminations that gently light up the canal.
Be sure to enjoy this heartwarming light art as you stroll around.

POINT

Located just outside the Motomachi exit of JR Ishikawacho Station, this shopping street offers easy access to Motomachi and Chinatown.
The streetscape retains the remnants of the former canal area, and is lined with restaurants, general goods, and fashion stores.
A shopping street where you can stroll at your own pace and enjoy a leisurely pace, popular with both local residents and tourists.
